egg peritonitis/ prolapse.....Need Advice Please!

Hi All

Need some urgent advice Please (My vets are closed as it's the weekend!)

This morning my Beechwood Blue laid fine with no issues, Then tonight I checked on her and she was in the hen house and it looked like she laid a soft shell egg.

I checked her bottom and there was a little blood coming out and it looked like there was egg white and yolk coming out of her bum (imagine a broken egg with no shell coming out of her bottom)

Anyway, now she just wants to sit down and rest, her crown is a little floppy (not pale) and she is alert.

I have not noticed any bloody diarrhea and she has been eating fine, so I'm a little confused as to why this has happened!?

ANY advice or opinions are very much welcome!

You could give her a human calcium pill, that might help her with future eggs and it might make her feel a little better.
