Egg has been popped for about 24 hours

Been in this state since about 6 pm last night

Lil guy chirps every so often

At what point might they need help? I don’t want to do more harm than good

So no change this morning. Same condition as yesterday when I posted. Wife did she saw the duckling move a bit but I haven’t and haven’t heard it chirp in a few hours

I have been reading this thread, it might be worth reading through, but read to the very end before you do anything. Ducks can take quite a while to hatch. If it’s been over 48 hours then go ahead and peel a small piece of shell off. If there are veins then it still needs more time. Chewy and yawning also mean that the yolk sac is still not absorbed. If not then peel a small piece off every couple of hours. You can use coconut oil, Vaseline or i use original neosporin to coat the membrane to prevent it from drying.

Don’t see any veins. Have had the humidity at75%. Peeled a few chips of shell away around the hole but he doesn’t seem to be moving or chirping at all. No yawning or chewing either
