I’ve always had my eggs laying horizontally (self turning). I just got a new incubator that has instructions and spots for small end down. Does anyone have opinion/information on which produces better results (more healthy hatches)?

I just lay my eggs on their sides, its more natural. Ive had good hatch rates, but I've never tried it the other way.
