We will be starting our first eggs in the incubator on Saturday Jan 31. We have a Brinsea Octagon 20 advance and will be trying 12 eggs. My question is what's the best position for the eggs in the incubator since it won't be full?

1- Put all 12 eggs in the center 2 rows

2- Stagger the rows (example: row 1 full, row 2 empty, row 3 full, row 4 empty)

3- Space them out throughout all 4 rows

Whats been the preferred method?

I do not have the brinsea...........

We just bunch them together and let it go. We do kind of take the KISS approach to incubating. Nothing complex is allowed.

And we get great hatch rates.
