Hello fellow chicken farmers.
I am having some trouble.
I have 3 chickens, one auracana, one buff orp, and one rhodie red, and all but one has stopped laying eggs. The buff produces eggs every so often, I am guessing because it is summer and here in AZ it is quite hot, but I keep fans on them at all times and leave giant ice blocks for them in their water dishes. The auracana hasnt laid an egg since, oh my, I think half a year ago, and the rhodie hasnt laid an egg for at least 4 months. The buff is on a 2 week hiatus. I was reading about deworming chickens and I have never done that before and curious to know that maybe that is the cause. Everything else about them seems normal. And also, I leave diatomaceous earth out to prevent mites. Oh, and I feed them complete layer feed and kitchen scraps like veggies and fruits.
Thank you for your help.
Carly

oh and I forgot to mention, they just turned one year old.

I have a 1 year old orp who is either still ;laying shell-less eggs and I am no longer finding them or stopped laying also. My Americauna lays consistantly and my barred rock just started laying but no sign of white eggs from my Orp... the white rock should start laying soon so hopefully with 3 laying the 4th will get her act back in gear. The americauna's eggs are half the size of my rocks.
