We had a flock of hens where each hen would lay an egg everyday. After a while, we added a rooster to the flock, and they stopped laying eggs. We figured it was the rooster, so we gave the rooster to our neighbor. We waited, but they never started laying eggs. They're 3 years old. So do you think it was the rooster that made them stop laying or their age? Because we thought that if it had been there age, they wouldn't off stopped so abruptly. We are confused..

They are either hiding eggs on you or there is a health issue. Mine went off lay when they were completely infested with mites. Have you done a bug check or wormed them lately?
