If you have a bantam roo and he mates with a standard hen, will you get smaller eggs or full sized eggs? Our intention would be to sell the Maran eggs, so would we have to get a std. size roo?

The rooster has nothing to do with eggs or egg size. Think of humans, we menstruate whether or not we have a male. The only thing the rooster does is fertilize the eggs. You will still get eggs and the same size no matter what kind of rooster or if you have one. You don't need a rooster unless you plan on hatching them. The size of the egg and frequency of laying depend on breed. Some breeds lay larger and some smaller. I hope this helps.

*the rooster would also effect the size, coloring, etc. of his offspring, as would any father.
