Egg question...

I have one silkie that is continuously laying for me and when going out this afternoon to collect the eggs, I found a surprise. There was an egg about the size of those malted milk ball eggs that you see at easter time. Is this a fluke thing that has happened or does this happen often?

I am new to chickens and eggs and this is my first season for my hens to be laying. I would send pictures of the tiny little thing, but I have no clue how to get pictures on here.

I get a teeny weenie egg every once in awhile. I think it's normal....just a fluke of nature. It happens especially when they first start laying. don't worry about it ....
