Just read this on aol news: http://www.aolnews.com/nation/article/egg-recall-salmonella-cases-expected-to-rise-as-recall-widens-lawsuit-filed/19598839
I'm new to chickens.... my girls are only 6 weeks old, and no eggs yet. What advice do you all have to avoid salmonella poisoning in my own eggs when I start getting them. Are there some dangers I need to look out for or prepare for? Is it less likely to happen in my own environment, considering I keep my chickies pretty darn clean all the time?
Thanks! Eager to hear all your comments on this.
