I saw a couple of really cool old ones at an antique sale. They were asking $35 each. I thought that was a bit pricey so I checked on ebay to see if I could get a better price. Nope!

Even the new ones are "spendy"

Egg scales all seem to be pretty expensive. New, old, antique, the cheapest ones I've seen have been in the $36-$40 range. If you find a cheaper source, please let us know.

I have a small kitchen general purpose light small shipping scale etc that is very accurate and also weighs in Grams..works super on eggs and it wasn't that terribly pricey. For fun I borrowed an egg scale and it was exactly the same weights as mine.My girls are laying XL with both [IMG]

eggcartons.com has one for $29.95. Just type in egg scale in the search bar.

I just hate that stupid chicken silhouette. Great price though.
