Egg scissors

I just received my quail egg 'scissors' that opens the top of a quail egg smoothly and evenly. They work exactly as advertised and are extremely high quality. Only 8 dollars. Not sure who had suggested them on this site, but will be the best dollars I have spent in a while.

No more cracking eggs and getting the 'spots' in them.

I ordered them, in anticipation of becoming a quail person. Be forewarned, the shipping is $8.27! I hope they work a long, long time.

They seem fairly high quality and sturdy. I just got a request from my grandson to cook him a quail egg ommellet with cheese. So I got out the scissors and cracked open 5 in no time without having to deal with any pieces of shells in the eggs. I love stuff like this that is really practical and useful. My wife won't cook the quail eggs often since it is normally so time consuming to crack and clean them. So this should solve many issues ..............

I have even had thoughts of seeing if one of the quails heads will fit thru the opening and then it will be a dual purpose tool!

Has anyone tried a cigar cutter to open the eggs?
