I realize the real answer to this is to put up a sign in the yard and find out, but I would love to get a feel for how many dozen people are able to sell themselves. Is your doorbell ringing all day? 2 dozen, 20 dozen? Anyone have a small store, vending machine? I'm trying to find out if you can have a worthwhile enterprise without having to wholesale. They're too precious to give away cheap, and they are worth it. Right now I just give them to family and friends, and I feel like selling to the public is a big step.
Thanks

Use your network.

Sell them to friends and family also, they can help with the feed bill.

Depending on where you are, traffic, and how good you are at networking, I would think 20 dozen a week should be relatively easy.

I sell 40 dozen eggs a week for $5 0r $6 a dozen depending upon when they started buying. I post on craigs, sell to friends, and always offer the 1st dozen free. When folks taste true free range pastured eggs, there is no going back to Babylon(mass produced) eggs. There are folks at the farmers market selling out of organic eggs at $10 per dozen. Of course, this is coastal California, and prices are inflated. Dealing directly with consumers makes my meager profits worthwhile. The appreciation is worth it every time. Good Luck
