Four Rhode Islands (1 red 3 whites) recently the fourth finally started laying two of the birds now give a much lighter brown egg. Are they ok?

Every hen has her own "color" she puts on her egg. The "bloom" as it is called. Each hen will have a certain shade and shape. Like snowflakes, they all differ in color, shape and size. So yes, your birds are just fine! :)

Congrats on those eggs! :)

X 2 - also, as a bird progresses through a laying cycle (for new layers that is from the first egg to the first molt) the eggs can become lighter in shade.
