Egg shell damaged

Looks like rats raided my turkey eggs on day 27. Hen apparently crushed she'll during the attack Managed to salvage 1 but she'll was damaged. Put in incubator - chick is chirping and pipped but 1/3 of shell is cracked and outer membrane is exposed . I've swabbed it with bacitracin and wrapped in wet paper towel( except for beak). He hasn't progressed any in last 8 hours. When should I assist?
