My ex-bat hen passed a shell-less egg earlier in her coop. Now she's trying to pass the soft shell but its stuck! There's a piece sticking out and she looks irritated and unhappy though she is walking around. Every now and then she tries to reach it with her beak (at least I think thats what she's doing!). I've tried to gently pull but she got pretty upset so I've left her alone.
Any ideas? Is this something I should be worried about?
