hi my 8 month old easter egger just started laying eggs one every other day. what worries me is the large egg size difference i am sending pic. the first one was small, the next 2 large and today a small one. i feed them purina laying pellets plus give them oyster shell. they free range for about 8 hrs a day and eat greens while running around. is this size different normal?

Yeah, the Large eggs are probably double yolks. It pretty much a given with new layers, some breeds/types more so than others.
Early layers before 5 months usually lay small/Peewee size eggs to start.
My Golden Comets were all laying by 19 weeks and gave me a lots of small eggs for a few weeks. 20160805_104337.jpg . Then quickly got bigger 20160906_102937.jpg .with a lot of double yolks. 20160816_110126.jpg .
My Barred Rocks were all laying by 23 weeks, 4 weeks later than the Golden Comets. I got very few double yolks from them.
I do love them double yolks, but I do feel bad for the Pullet.
Your Egger will lay single yolk eggs when her systems stabilize. How long? I don't know, never had an Easter Egger. My Comets laid double yolks for months, the Rocks less than a month.
My Comets are 44 months old and my Rocks are 16 months. GC

I'd guess the bigger ones are double yolkers.......or you have 2 birds laying.
