I am looking at the Brinsea mini incubator and was planning on incubating OEG Bantam eggs, I was wondering if I should get the small egg insert or stick with the standard one? Do you think the bantam eggs are small enough for this insert or would they be too big? It says it is good for quail and pheasant eggs, I don't know how the bantam eggs compare to quail or pheasants... Thanks!

I get a pretty good range of sizes from my OEGs. Some are too tiny for regular chicken size inserts and tumble around while others fit in fine. I usually use quail inserts on the smaller eggs but have never tried to put larger eggs in the quail size. I would need to double check but I am pretty sure even the larger eggs I get will fit into quail inserts ok.
