My chickens just recently started laying eggs. They are a little on the small size. Do they get bigger over time? It’s been around 5-6 weeks. Some are fairly large and some are still really small. I know it also depends on the breed. I have Amberlinks, Easter Eggers, Wyandotte’s, welsummers, barred rocks, olive eggers, barnevelders and 2 cuckoo marans. They are all about 5 1/2 months old.

They'll start to get bigger over time. Since they've just started laying and they're still young you'll get alot of fairy eggs.
What’s interesting is that the yolks are full size on such a tiny egg.
