Egg sizes

I didn't see an egg size chart anywhere.

My Brahma's started laying this week and the eggs are slightly smaller than my Silkies.

Please tell me they get larger as they get older.....they do right?

How big are Silky eggs?

I've heard that they're no bigger than like a Robin's egg!

Here are my eggs.

Silkie, Brahma, and Orpington.

(Brahma's just started laying this week)

I don't know about your girls but my chicken's eggs got bigger as they layed. At first they were small. Now, 6 mths later they are large to jumbo. I hope someone can help you with a more specific answer about your breeds.

Still wondering if this is normal size for a Brahma.

I'm hoping they get larger. It seems awful small for a bird so large!

My Light Brahma's eggs are smaller than my RSLs', but definitely bigger than a bantam egg. Yours should get bigger as she gets into the rythm of laying.
