Same thing happened to a day 25 chick of mine. Momma pooped in the brooder box and left the egg! So her 4 other siblings went with momma and this one egg was left. Momma wouldn't take the egg, instead pecked at it! There was blood, lotsa peeping, some kind of tear thing and, yolk sac.. thing. She made it, and right now I think she is a he.
