So I had an egg that didn’t smell rotten when I cracked it open but it did smell off. Like most of my eggs smell clean. My wife has a tendency to smell everyone after cracking and this time she said it smelled off. Not rotten just off.

How old is the egg? Anything past 30 days in the fridge would pitch. If off I probably would not take a chance to eat it. I also am curious what you feed the chickens if a fresh egg because some foods like garlic, fish etc. people have claimed in certain quantities can make the egg taste off a little.
