Egg Snatching Success!!

We took 24 eggs out from under our sitting Guinea hen last night. Went ahead and left her with 11, just as an experiment to see how it turns out. She did return to the nest!

I expect the ones in the bator will start hatching in a few days. She's been sitting on them for about 20 days, give or take.

Please post what happens. We will be doing the same thing tonight. We have two guineas setting one with 18 eggs and the other has 42 under her!!! We thought we'd try to steal about half and try to hatch them inside!! Good luck to you.
