20 wk old california white has been doing the egg song all day, hanging out in the nest, vent looks like she is about to lay...... no egg yet. It would be her first time laying is this normal?

Yep, it's normal. Having never laid an egg, shes not got her timing right yet for the song. She will figure it all out after she's laid a few. Congrats on the up and coming egg.

She will be singing like Elvis she's just practicing for the concert tour.
I don't know the egg song - I don't think mine do it. What does it sound like?

LOL - yes I believe I have heard that! Like about every day. I didn't know it was about eggs though. Live and learn!
