Our peahen laid her first egg yesterday and a black racer tried to eat it
It had about 90% of the egg in its mouth
The egg is still intact but worried about the protective membrane
Or would it be better to remove the egg even if it is still viable?
The peafowl are still living in there coop and were planning to let them free range after she hatches her eggs (as long as she cooperates)
We are new to peafowl and chickens so any advice is appreciated
