I only had one developed egg out of seven, and I am incubating it now. It is day 17 and I candled. It was very full and moving a lot. I got really excited by this, so the next time I went to turn it, I quickly candled again. It wasn't moving. Does this mean it is dead, or do chicks just rest a lot? Do any of you get hatches from non moving chicks? The air cell is looking good, maybe a little small. The humidity has been at 35 - 40% Throughout incubation, but today it was really humid and it went up to 50% and I couldn't get it back down. Did the high humidity kill the baby? I am really nervous.

Ive never had high humidity hurt baby chicks and they do rest alot so try candling it tommorrow

I just candled it and it is still not moving :(. I put it into lock down anyway, because I thought it just might be sleeping.
