Hi there! I'm in Melbourne and wanting to buy some sebrights, I'm wondering if anyone can give me some advice as a first time owner of this breed (I've previously had pekin and modern game bantams). I'm also wondering if someone could recommend a good breeder or private person that may have 3 healthy pullets for sale. We have a small backyard and a coop with an enclosed run, and the chickens also free-range in the yard. Will this breed be a good choice in terms of how robust they are, but also how friendly they are in temperament as "pets?"Thankyou very much, Lottie

I have had Seabright's in the past. They are a medium sized bantam, and are brave chickens. They will live alongside Large Fowl, chickens, and avoid being bullied.
My Silver Seabright was my longest living chicken. She pulled 13 years. My Golden Seabright also lived long, About 10+ years or so.
They are capable of flying quite well, and high.
Sorry I cant help you locate any.
