Egg storage

Yep, I could probably do that. I'd need to order some, though.

My incubator has a different style of egg turner.

I am contemplating a couple of ideas. For now I just lay all my eggs in a bowl. I'd rather have a better system to keep fresh eggs separated from older eggs.

Better still would be if it held button quail eggs, too.

Well there you go, make your own to suit your needs. No reason each tray can't have 2 different size holes for eggs or different trays for different eggs.

Me thinks I set you guys up for a few hours of project time. DH will be thrilled that it's someone else this time around.

I store mine on little shelves with holes that they balance on. Stacked on a holder. I'll take a picture.

Here it is. I don't turn, I save for 5 days and do something with them.

Wow, nice rack!

I mean egg storage device. What's the emoticon for blushing?

I use chukar trays for egg storage and even shipping for my coturnix eggs. You can tip them left and right if you are a turning kind of person, but they serve me well.

I have quail cartons that I store my button eggs in, I'm not hatching anything out at the moment so I just put'em in the frige. When I am hatching, then I just keep a chicken egg carton in my room and put what ever eggs I want in the carton over 6 days.
