Alright so I tried to take a hand at hatching three eggs out. The first one I took right as my hen layed it on the 11th and candled it to check for hairline cracks and pores. It looked good, so I popped it in the incubator.

Now fast forward to today I got a bit impatient and decided to candle it again and there were little spots where the light seemed to seep in more. It seems like the egg suddenly became porous? Does this mean it’s infertile or should I wait till day 10?

I've set porous eggs and had them hatch, so would wait until first candling to take any action based on what you see then (I candle at seven days). Best of luck!

Very porous egg I am incubating right now.
Here is a video of it on day one were I can tell it is fertile.

Wait to candle..... should be some veining on the 7th day if it's fertile.

That’s actually pretty interesting. Part of me just wonders why it suddenly became porous. My humidity is set at 35-45% and temp fluctuates from 98-99.5.
