    Hi Hannah
I have got 18 chick eggs and 3 duck eggs in the incubator for the hatch along, I candled them and 1 chick egg was a non fertile dud, 1 duck egg seems to have died on week 2. I was flipping the eggs and realized that the live eggs were warmer than the dead ones, yes I still have the duds in there :idunno, is this normal? I had to lower the temp a few turns in the past two days, I assume this is because the embryos have started to produce heat, does this explain why the duds are colder than the lively ones?

Yes your developing eggs will feel warmer as the chick inside is now developing heat of it’s own :)
