EGG theif

Most of my hens like laying in a bush on a hill behind the coop and lately something has been stealing them. Last night whatever is doing it left the shells nearby. I cant figure out whats doing it. They went missing during the day one time.

May be the work of crows if it is happening during the day.

Or rats, opossums, raccoons, whoever has eggs on their menu. Mary

possum would eat the whole egg, guessing racoon would also. Just got rid of egg stealing possum.

Looks like damage done by crows to me too. As long as they lay their eggs like that the crows will be back. They are creatures of habit. If you have a game camera, put it up and then you will know for sure. I love my cameras. Good luck...
