possumz….. They are actually very beneficial creatures. The can not get rabies (core body temp too low), are immune to snake venom and actually eat snakes. They have pouches like a kangaroo for their young.. are nomads traveling and rarely staying on one spot too long. They Eat LOADS of ticks and even eat rodents. Can be such pains lol, but benefits outweigh the risk. Trail cams are the best tools, I am betting on a squirrel, they steal wild bird eggs too.

That's a possum.

I was on my phone and couldn't tell is was a possum. I see him now!

Sounds like a raccoon or possum. They’re both excellent climbers and can scale right over a fence. I’d be careful because they will go after your hens if they’re feeling up for a fight.
