I lost an egg on day 7. I could see a blood ring and could tell it looked different Than the other eggs so I cracked it open.

Trying to post a picture but I am on my phone. It was interesting. It is amazing how much development occurs so quickly.

Bacteria gets into the egg and grows, killing the developing chick.

I am worried about my other babies now. It would probably be good if I stopped handling the eggs so much but I a just so excited!

Wash your hands before touching the eggs. Also, you can use had sanitizer.

Blood ring is common--You will have a great hatch! The others will be fine if they do not have blood ring yet. My last hatch had 2 of them.
