Egg toss!

I'm down to 4 laying hens and 20 pullets. Lately the layers are tossing the nest eggs out on to the coop floor. Wonder why they started doing that?

Increased activity in the nest boxes by POL pullets may be causing this. If it is a problem, you could increase the lip on the edge of the nest box.

That may help. What are POL pullets?

I agree with the increased lip of the nesting boxes.
If you are able to, you could check the nesting boxes more often.
Or even change the material you are using in the nesting boxes.
