Egg Turner is having issues.. Staggered hatch.

I have several eggs developing on a staggered hatch (i have several bators). My egg turner is overheating and trying to quit. My question is: Is it safe to take them out of the turners and just turn them manually? Some of them were set on 4/17, 5/2 and i have 4 more to set today.. I would love to turn them all by hand. I am thinking that the 5/2 and today can be changed. Any help would be REALLY appreciated!!

Oh, they are incubating in a forced air. I have several forced air and still air. which is best for the hatching/lockdown?
