egg turner not keeping eggs up

I have a new incubator with automatic turner, but the eggs won't stay up, they keep ending up on their side. What can I do, is this ok?

Eggs are supposed to turn on their sides.

What bator/turner do you have?

Hi guys, thanks for the replies. first time hatching here! I tried to look through the forums but couldn't seem to find this answer. It's been 24 hrs and I candled and everything looks like it's suppose to so far!

What kind of incubator?If it's a cabinet incubator you will need the egg trays or you can use corrugated egg cartons,but you will need to cut a hole in the bottom so the heat can circulate thru the bottom.

Thank you. Just wasn't sure since they had to be pointy end down before being put in.
