anyone have a fix for a brand new hovabator egg turner not turning? i guess the eggs are no good if it has been several days not turning? i thought it was odd it was always tilted the same direction.

nothing ever does what it is supposed to do, must have been made right here in the good ol usa

I would not give up them at all. I just had the same thing happen to me and mine turned out ok. I think mine worked some times but I am sure it didnt work for days.

The motors seem to stop working on these things. That must be why the replacement is readily available for about $20. Start hand turning them, I would hypothesize that a good hatch could be achieved if turning is done diligently for the rest of the time.

Don't know how the hovabator turner is made but the LG that I have stopped working the second day and I figured out that one of the ends came out of the track hole. I popped it back in and all has been well since, well with the turner. Good Luck

the electric motors in these turners are junk....buy a couple of spares and have them on hand for service!

I prefer a bator that has the turner on the outside, like the Brinsea Octagon's. Even with these I keep extra motors because the turners seldom operate an entire season without motor failure.
that's my 2 cents

take the turner out and hand turn them 3 times a day morning afternoon and before you go to bed i dont use auto tunners and i get 70 to 90 percent hatch ratio

i am the originator of this post (different access). yes, it definitely wasn't moving (3 hours and no movement). i beat on it a little and it is working again. i will be vigilant. still working this morning. thanks for input.
