Hi guys from Lauren in Dayton, TN.

Using an Egg Turner in a Foam Style incubator with or without a Fan is truly the way to go. That is of course unless you have the time to Rotate your eggs 3 times a day.

The First time you use the turner it may function flawlessly, and over time the motor stresses due to drag (Friction) and it can make noise or simply run slow.

An Advanced lubricant called 1 Lube by Slick 50 Telephone 1-800-546-6040 for questions; will make things work great for several uses and the repeat application is simple.

Don't Spray this on the turner. Spray a small amount of 1 Lube into a small Dixie cup or glass. Take a Q-tip swab and dampen it slightly. Touch the end of the Q-tip to each U-Shaped rocker position and let it migrate to the entire surface and make certain any and all projecting pins receive enough lube to cover the surfaces. Where the motor is; tap the Q-tip on the Gear and where it connects to the egg turner. If some seeps into the motor, it won't harm it, but do not deliberately drop the lube drop into the motor shaft and beyond. It won't damage any wires, so your safe.

Lube getting on the Foam surface will not cause any damage, and the Lube will not be TOXIC to any eggs placed in the cups as you do not swab the egg cups anyhow.

One can of 1 Lube will last a very long time, and it is great for many other uses. Spray directly on gate hinges that rust, tighten up, or squeak. Door hinges on the barn, in the home, and Car can be freed up and that annoying screech goes away. Drive belts, chains, and latches work great after an application. Any metal device that has a pulley, piston, or sticking action will work better for weeks or months.

How it works: The oil lube and protectant has a film quality called Slick50 that was invented many years ago. It acts like a slippery silicone although its properties are chemically different. It has a Micro, bead-like penetration ability that clings to the surface and forms a barrier between to metal surfaces. One the barrier is worn out, you need to re-apply the application again. Hope this helps you....Hemedinger of Dayton, TN.
