At day 18 should I turn the egg turner off and leave the eggs in the turner? Or should I take the turner out and put the eggs on their side, on the screen at the bottom of the incubator?

Take the turner out, put the screen in and be sure there is PLENTY of water in the bator for those last three days.

You can leave them on their sides or use the egg carton method.

Personally I like the egg carton method, BUT you MUST be ABSOLUTELY sure that the egg has the air sac in the upright
position and not upside down. I just candle them on day 18 and MARK the side where the air sac is with a pencil.

Yes, put them on their side on the wire screen with the pointy end just slightly down. no more turning. close the incubator and do not open again until the hatch is over to keep the climate steady!
