Egg turning while incubating.

I have one of those. It maintained the best temp and humidity out of 5-6 incubators I tried, but I forgot about the rod after candling and lost a few days of turning. I had to assist several chicks at hatch.
Quite similar yes šŸ‘

Oh no! That was always my nightmare 😩

Did they all make it? I'm always so unsure about helping chicks at all.
I've always been told by friends and family that they don't make it anyway if you help them out...

I lost most in the beginning after a day or so because I rushed when I was assisting, patience is the key.

The trick is to help slowly. Small bits around the pip and wait an hour or so before helping more. Give the chick time and see if it can free itself. Waiting allows them to work their muscles and build strength. I also use a bit of olive oil on the membrane if the chick is shrink wrapped. I prefer it to water because water dries too quickly. I still lose some, but my odds get better with each hatch.

That one's rated highly and looks like a nice little incubator!

What day were they on, out of curiosity, when you had no turning going on? Just wondering why they didn't unstick themselves as they grew, if that had been the issue.

Also, about helping, you're right to take it slow and give them the opportunity to get out, as at least now you know they can breathe air. They are usually making chewing motions with their beak, and that's them absorbing the rest of their yolk.

I don't recall; it was in the Halloween Hatch-Along if I remember correctly . . . I'll look through the thread and see if I can find it.
