i'm gearing up for my FIRST batch of eggs ever. i have a brand new hovabator settling in and am open to ANY advice. wondering what is the ideal number of turns in a day? how important is it to have the turns equally spaced apart, like if i turn them 5 times a day between 10 am and 11 pm and then not at all at night - is that bad? calling all experts!

I hand turn my chicken eggs 3x a day. Every 8 hours, roughly. I turn them at 7am, 3pm, & 11pm. Works well for me.
