i was wondering what end of my QUAIL eggs go up or down in the incubator.

can someone please post a picture of what this looks like?

Does your incubator turner hold the eggs upright or do they lay on their sides? If they are to be upright then the wider, fatter end of the egg is where the air cell is and so is placed with that end pointing up the thin end is placed down in the egg holder in the turner. If they are to be placed on their sides on the turner then do just that, place them on their sides. Hope this makes some sense. See Sally Sunshines post about incubating and she has a picture.

You are welcome. The whole incubating thing can be very stressful, especially the first time around. Good luck and don't hesitate to ask questions as you go along, the knowledgeable folks here on BYC are very, very helpful and are especially willing to help new hatchers, people and chicks alike!!
