Egg weight scales

Quote:
Around where I live, many locally-produced eggs are sold as "ungraded" so that when you open a carton, there are medium through extra-large eggs all in there together. Most people I know buy these without a blink of the eye. We're more concerned that the eggs taste good!

Some of my customers look at me with an evil eye and ask if I really made it a carton of large eggs and why do they see some that look small. I assure them I weigh the carton and it is large or X-large (I charge the same price but large cartons have better variety of color).
I am amazed at the people who prefer the grocery store eggs to fresh free ranged chicken eggs. Even though we have sampled out many, many eggs, we seldom get new customers.

Thank you dbcooper02! That's just what I needed for info!

Gosh, I can't believe how cheap I am that I won't buy one of these. But I have scales in my kitchen and weigh the cartons, I just really wanted to know what size each egg was considered so I can divy them up as I unload my baskets every night.
Thanks again, everyone!
