egg with peck hole

Anybody know what to do? Second day finding an egg with a peck hole.

There are a couple things you can do. Add golf balls, collect eggs more often. You can add curtins to the nest box. Or find the one that is doing it and cull. Make sure you have oyster shell free choice too.

Thanks. We put shell in today. gonna get a ceramic egg too.

do your hens have a sharp tip on the end of their beaks?...might trim the tip alittle with fingernail clippers...try and round the tip of the beak alittle...that's what I have done...some hens get smart about the golf balls and throw them outta the nest...hope this helps...
