I’m treating my flock with Equimax for tapeworms. Normally I dry their shells and feed back to them - I know there’s an egg w/d after treatment but does it also apply to the shell?

That's a good question.
If you are wanting to adhere to a withdrawal period, that means throw away the eggs, so I would take that as throwing out the whole egg including the shells.
