100% hatches are amazing. Congratulations! Here's some stuff I found on chick orthopaedics, food and leg problems and how to cure them:

For your curled toes one. It's important that you make her a little boot asap though. Easier to fix while they are very young still. Enjoy your babies!

Thank you for the advice! I found those links helpful and encouraging. I taped her feet flat right before work and will probably have to redo it when I get home because she was so squirmy!

That first site I linked is fantastic. Very good info there. Her toes should be straightened out soon-soon. It's best to get them when they are very young still.

And yeah, chicks are tricky to work with, especially when you need to turn them upside down, so you can get to the feet! I usually ask my DH to hold them for me, because they will not hold still. Your fluff butts are so pretty! I love that soft brown colour.

Thanks so much! I made her a second pair of shoes and already it looks like her toes are being more cooperative. :)
Thanks! I'm not sure where some of those colors came from! Only one is buff like the mother. ;)

I wonder what they're going to end up looking like when they got their feathers in? I often wish my chicks would hang onto their their down colours!

When my chicks hatched with their yolk sacs attached they looked dead, no movement or anything.
were yours like that?
Im keeping them in the incubator at the moment.

This only happened to me once and the chick was definitely moving around.
Fingers crossed for you!
