Went out to my loft new pair has laid a egg In her nest I took it up as they were feeding and I put it up to a light and the egg was very watery in side I put it back so the egg I don't even think is 5 hours old so is this infertile or just wait it out and see thanks

Yes it was just laid if it was the only egg in there. They may or may not start incubating the eggs when the first one is laid. Sometimes they wait until the second is laid to start. Now just sit back and wait and you should have babies in 18 days
