Eggbert died

We had the heating element go on our incubator on Day 18... We were hopeful that w/the heat lamp and all that we had saved the egg. Up until the heating element incident we had seen good movement and life. Today was Day 28, we opened the egg up and this is what we saw...

Don't know what day "eggbert" died but I know it was ALMOST a chick.

We're setting 24 new eggs on Sunday... Guess we'll try again!!! (with a new incubator)
