just another person stealing the eggbid name...plain WRONG.. Myself would never use a site that try to steal another name.........

Its actually standard practice to have several sites with the same name but be .net, .com, an .us. You have to register the names you want to reserve as yours an if you don't then you leave them open for use by others. An if you fail to reregester your name when the registration runs out it is free game for someone else. You don't own a phrase because you used it as a .com

I own cmfarm.us an its mainly about livestock.
Someone in NH owns cmfarm.com an its mainly about homeschooling.
Someone in Japan(i think) owns cmfarm.net an I thinks its about cooking, I cant read it.

If one of us wanted all of them we could have registered them all (under$50) but we didn't so there are more than one of us with the cmfarm name. Its life not theft.

As for the egg auction sites in general, they are all junk. With every site getting in to the game there is 1 more chance for someone to get it right.

Ebay owns both of those an hundreds more close to them because that's the requirement to claim ownership to them. Thats on top of trademarking... The eBay name and logo are registered trademarks in the U.S. and internationally. Just how it works. Register every vereation on the name you want or you will be stuck with "same name" competitors. Most people in the field say to register misspelling too.
