2 and a half old buff Orpington.
Hadn’t laid in 4-5 days but seemed normal.
Been on and off broody for a week or two.

Today she was laying down and and standing up oddly not playing.

Saw her strain for a bit trying to poop so I gave her crushed up tums and soaked her in epsom salt for 40 mins.
The first small weird egg came out instantly.

And about 20/30 mins later when she was standing up the other popped out but more normal looking just extremely thin.

I’ll attach the photos below.

Worried bc some people have said it’s a lash egg and others said it’s probably deformed egg from heat but honestly I don’t know.

Should I be worried about the next time she lays or an infection? Thank you

Can you cut into the thing you think is a lash egg and show us pics? Give her calcium citrate +D3 right away, it works faster than tums. Is her abdomen bloated?

The swelling has gone down significantly and she had a burst of energy after. Now she is really tired so I’m not sure if it’s bc there’s something else wrong or if she exhausted from pushing those two out. The inside of those two are very squishy and just membrane inside nothing hard or compact/built up

Ok, so I don't think it's a lash egg, which is good. If it was a lash egg she would have salpingitis, which would cause a bloated abdomen. Keep giving her the calcium and epsom salt baths and see if she improves.

I'd work on hydrating her and give her 1 Calcium Citrate tablet once a day for a week. If you have the TUMS, you can give those.

The odd egg looks like a membrane. The other was laying in the shell gland with that, that's why it has that spot on top. Anyway...
Work on hydration, Calcium, see that she's drinking well in this heat. Electrolytes provided along with plain water can sometimes be helpful.
Hopefully this is just a glitch from heat, but I'd keep watch on her.
