Eggbound Cornish cross

You said she has a big hard lump in her abdomen? Is this still there? Did you insert a finger into the vent to feel for an egg?
Does she have any other symptoms? If it were me, I would immediately bring her inside to a warp place. Will she drink fluids? Does she have any other symptoms rather than the walking? What do the bottoms of her feet look like?
What do you feed her, how much and how often?
I hope we can help you figure out whats going on.

Thank you for chiming in! I want to help but only have little eggbound experience that was remedied by applying olive oil and adjusting my hens' diet afterward. No personal experience with this type of chicken, though I do know how fast they grow.

You were very helpful with egg binding info, especially since no one else had responded. :DMay I add that putting an egg bound hen in a steamy room after popping calcium (calcium pills or a Tums) into her beak immediately is a better remedy than soaking. Hens who are struggling have trouble glancing their body temperature, so soaking can cause hypothermia, I learned this the hard way. :) I followed a thread were a member helped her hen pass an egg by placing her in a steamy room, the egg passed very quickly along with the extra calcium. Just a note I thought I'd add.

Sadly, I believe that her genetics are catching up to her, and her body is breaking down.
I'm interested in seeing what this member is feed, getting a weight would be good to. I fed my Cornish X hens a glucosamine supplement when they were still growing. Not sure if it made a difference or not, but if I got Cornish as pets again, I would likely do repeat this step.

I don’t know what I was feeling but I was feeling in the wrong place I think because it’s not there anymore. Her hip bones are still together so I assume she’s not eggbound. She does have mites which I noticed a few days ago and have Ben using DE. She is in a good place right now and will drink water that I put save-a-chick electro lights in and she is eating. The bottom of her feet are normal but her toes keep folding over each other and closing but I know that she can move them still because when she try’s to walk they move like she has control over them. I feed her all flock crumbles and I feed her 1/4cup in the morning at 6 and 1/4cup at 4pm.

How much protein is in the all flock? I don't feed my Cornish X more than 3/4c a day. You can look back on my thread tracking my learning curb when getting Doodle and Smudge, my two pet Cornish X. It has lots of good information.
Do you think you could get a weight for me? Either using a food scale, or weighting yourself than grab her and weight again. Then subtract the weights. I'm guessing she may be overweight, especially if the all flock is over 18% protein.

I’m sorry I said a cup but I meant 1/4 cup in the morning and 1/4 cup at 4 I edited it
